We don't sell your data. We use Google AdSense (which sets cookies) and Google Analytics 4 (anonymized) for traffic measurement. IP addresses you enter in tools are processed in-memory and not stored. That's the short version.

Information we collect
We collect two kinds of information: (1) information you actively provide — for example, an IP address you paste into the IP Lookup tool or text you submit to a hash generator; and (2) non-personal information your browser sends — user agent, screen size, language, referring URL. Tool inputs are processed in-memory to produce a result and are not persisted to a database or log.
How we use it
Aggregated, non-personal information helps us understand which tools are used and which are not, so we can decide what to build next. We do not use any of this information for individual profiling.

Some ads on this site are served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies (including the DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visit to this site and others. You can opt out at: google.com/settings/ads. We never receive personally identifiable information from AdSense.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you. Because we don't store the inputs you submit to our tools, in practice HalleySoftware holds no personal information about you. If you believe we do, contact us and we'll investigate.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we change the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
